Oil level it supposed to be at a plugged opening LOW on the left side of the transmission, just behind the front joint where the clutch housing bolts on to the transmission. The left brake rod obscures it so you have to get down low to see it. It looks too low to be the full level to most people the first time they use it. Should have a square head pipe plug.
