I have an original '49 Super A tractor with the 6 volt generator and it has the regulator mounted on top of the generator. It seems to charge good as the battery isn't ever down. It also has a LOW and HIGH charge via the light switch used to control how much the generator outputs to the battery.
When I bought the tractor, it didn't have any headlights on it, and I'd like to add some this weekend. I have the 6 volt lights and light posts, but would like to get some help on wiring all of that in. I am familiar with BOB M's wiring diagrams, but I haven't had a tractor with this type charging system and would like to see a diagram for my particular set-up.
