Its a 2 inch expansion plug. no problem to replace once engine parts on rear of the block are removed. If needed knock a hole in the old one to pry out then drive a new in with a little sealer used. Old one may be so bad it comes out in pieces. Also a expansion plug for the cam bore is on the back. It will be a smaller diameter plug. Don't bother it unless there's a problem. Should be several old posts on splitting the engine from clutch housing. After split, remove clutch and flywheel. a small plate on front side of rear plate, then large rear plate and you can see the plug.
