Hi Phil, Draft level always fully forward unless using some in ground implement like plow or harrow. To use the remote outlet, put 3pt lift lever in the middle of the Up and Down position and turn the Open/Close valve to Close, now if you move 3pt lever in UP direction the remote cylinder should extend and move 3pt lever in Down direction the remote cylinder will retract if there is a load on it(only UP pressure, Down relies on load on cylinder to push hydraulic oil back into reservoir). The Fast/Slow in Fast position allows 6 GPM oil flow to 3pt, in Slow position allows only 3 GPM to 3pt. I would use the Slow position when mowing with a 3pt sickle bar mower. If I saw a ground hog hole approaching by the front of rear tire, I would quickly move 3pt lever Upwards and then drop it again. That would lift the sickle bar up and over the ground hog hole and drop it again making a perfect cut without hitting rocks or dirt.
