Hi. I was just thinking of fixing up my dad's 1466 shifter. I know it needs some new shifting collars (especially the one the lever bolts to and the hi-lo) and was just curious how the 404855R1 sleeve comes off. This is the horizontal sleeve that the three cast collars for your hi-lo-rev pivot on. I looked at the parts book online and it just shows it beside the steering support assembly with no pin or retainer. Is it just pressed in a cast hole on the steering support? How do you get it out? I also see there is a bushing inside. I assume this is to keep tight the 1-4 speed shift shaft that runs through it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
