so, when you say "bowl", you mean on the carb, right? When you take the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb bowl, lots of fresh gas comes out, correct? solid, pencil size stream? Have you tried giving it a shot of ether when cranking? Is the air cleaner hooked up when you attempt to start? If so, did you check to make sure it isn't plugged?
