Went to an auction to look at a mower conditioner and found an IH No 100 trailer mower sitting next to it. I had been looking for one so I picked it up. There is a fairly loud growl/rattle when the PTO is engaged AND disengaged. This is coming from the mower but I have not figured out just where. Neither my 115 or 120 mowers makes any noise when engaged/disengaged. I am going to run over the mower with a helper to run the PTO and see if I can locate the source. Any balanced mower experts with an opinion on what to look at?
