The oil filter on my H Farmall started leaking oil while on the big Eastern Iowa Tractorcade. The oil is coming out at the top of the canister.
Someone told me I tightened the bolt too tight.
That filter has not been changed for a year and never leaked until on the long ride this past week.
Is the bolt too tight?
Should I just change the oil and filter now instead of usually doing this in the fall? When putting on the new filter I guess I could then see the problem?
