SON !!! (heck).....I am getting anxious MYSELF !! Defintely got it down to bare bones, there MUST be one heck of a pile of pieces SOMEWHERE !!
One thing for sure is, you never run out of opinions here.
It's your tractor, dip it, grind it, sand it.......doesn't matter now...when you get to this point.......YOU JUST WANT TO SEE IT RED!!!......and maybe even together too!!
I remember spending countless hours with a 1/4 inch camel hair brush touching up here and there......you get it out in the sun and DANG IT...there's another spot I missed....where did that one come from??
You have to just learn to say.."WHEN"...That's good enough...
THEN !!!
You start assembly.....you can wear polar bear skin gloves & every piece of padding you can get your hands on, take the most extreme measure of care (after all you want this one RIGHT) and even then some things are still going to get dinged or scratched....extremely painful....but a few strokes of the faithful touch-up brush and it's like it never happened.
With the advent of your recent alliance with your better half, good advice would be to send her & her Mom shopping during any assembly.
Wouldn't want your contemporary dearly beloved to see you reduced to such outrage indoors.
BUT....it's all good....
