The 444 is a very good tractor. I farm a lot for a guy that has a 2444 which is the industrial version of the 444. His is the best all around tractor he has. You can bale, mow, blade, plow, whatever you want with it. They are balanced well and have good power. Only thing I don't like about his is that it don't have power steering. i would say with the equipment and if it has good tires and runs well, you are not getting hurt at that price.
