I am going strictly from memory. I believe the International 660 High Clear Sprayer was introduced in about 1967. The 780 was introduced within another year or year and a half. They were basicly the same except the 780 had about ten or twelve more inches of crop clearence. I believe it had the C-135 gas engine but, I have forgotten a lot of details in the 45 or so years since it was introduced. It was a much better sprayer than the Haan's and Barrentine's that were popular in our area at the time, The John Deere model that came out a year or so after the IH was basicly a copy of the 660/780 using JD components.
Go for it, It will make an interesting restoration.
