Use the hood -- the isos are not good for your eyes or your skin. I have a Hobby Air that I use for sand blasting and painting. Yes it gets warm, particularly when blasting, I never paint more than a few minutes at a time. When my painting hood is all cruddy looking, I use it for blasting and get a new one for painting. They are not that expensive. The hoods are bulky and it is sometimes inconvenient dragging around an air hose and the supplied air hose. But it is better than breathing isos. I've had my hobby air for 10 years, probably last 20 more. So, I have never tried a Breathecool. Be sure to get the plastic lens covers for the hood, or your hood may not last for more than a day.
