I have one of those adapters and use it with my 350. In order to get a finer pitch adjustment I am thinking about making a new top link with a strap that has staggered holes instead of holes all in a line. This would allow me to "split the difference" and get more adjustments. (Besides, my link is actually a Cat 2 and I have to use an adapter bushing since all my tools are Cat 1.) A person would have to make sure that his implements have enough depth below the third link pin since the strap will hang down farther when using the upper row of holes. Just an idea for you if you are building your own from scratch. Wouldn't look as original but it might make it more functional.
