The story on the Farmall C in the Yesterday's tractors mag. features a photo of my Dad on his 1950 Farmall C. This is his first tractor. He bought it at an auction for $700:00 and would have had it for $500:00 but one other guy saw that it was going to cheap. He got interested in Farmall's at age 77 after I bought one to restore. The Photo is the day we brought it home. I could not belive it when it fired right off and had great oil pressure and no smoke. It did need a throw out bearing and an axel seal leaked on it. It is now all painted and we are just doing some wireing and have to put on the stickers and lights.Don't know what those wheel weights came off of but they about killed both of us getting them off. They must weight around 300 lb.s TO much for that little tractor. We have spent some great time working on it and marvelling at how a red tractor can eat so much green money. I'm very proud of him, hope you can take a min. to look at a man I love and his new hobbie. Paul
