Hi Robbie, Usually worn cam bearings drop pressure first followed by rod & main bearings then oil pump flow. Not always in that order but close. One thing you can do during the summer time is change oil to 20/50w and that should let enough pressure build for general use but way to stiff for winter time around 0 degrees, in fact the engine probably won't turn over to start. A good winter oil might be 10/40w depending where you live. Of course a rebuild is the correct fix depending you answer Andy's question of how low is low. T_Bone
