The 660, 770, and 780 sprayers were of same design. The 660 was 60 inch crop clearence for 38-42 inch rows; 770 was 70 inch crop clearance for 38 to 42 inch rows; 780 was 70 inch crop clearence for 30 to 40 inch rows. They were made in Memphis Works. The 660 was introduced in the late 60's , probably about 66 or 67, followed by within a year, the 770 and then the 780. They were replaced by the 800 in the late 70's which was a four wheel design and was made by an outside company to IH specs with IH paint and decals.
