Bill, I am just starting to dig into a power steering leak on a 560. It is my first time, and I'm not sure what to expect. I have one of the IT manuals, and for the most part they are very good. I just can't seem to find a diagram of my leaking part anywhere in it - it could just be that I'm not familiar with the names of the parts. A neighbor has redone his 460 and is going to give me some pointers. The first one was that I had to pull the radiator, and I haven't made it that far yet. You could try jacking the front end and wiggling the front tires side to side to get a feel for how much of the play is in the part of the linkage that is visible (tie rods, etc). If all of that seems pretty tight I suspect you are heading for some teardown work. A Case mechanic told me they rebuild the control valves for someone who removed the part and brought it in and it was still $600. Good luck! Sam.
