I recently bought a 674 Int. diesel tractor. The temp. gauge has never read and I grounded the wire that connects to the temp.sensor, which moved the gauge to the far right of the gauge. So I decided it needed a temp.gauge and replaced it, still no reading.I am wondering if the thermostat is defective,opening early and not allowing pressure to build up, in order to give a proper reading or is the rad plugged? Thanks for any help, much appreciated.
