My father-inlaws old H is dripping gas from the bottom of the carb when it sits. The sediment bulb valve must not be doing its job because it will drain the tank overtime. The main load screw area has been brazed from a long time ago. The old girl starts right up and runs fine so I don't think its a float or float valve issue. What I am puzzled about is the thing the IT manual calls a filler on the bottom of the bowl. The gas seems to be coming from this area or where it has been brazed. I've never seen this filler in any rebuild kits before. Does this ever go bad and need replacing and if so how? Also is the shut off valve replacable or is there some kind of packing it needs? The tractor is 200 mi. away and would like to fix it for him when I go up again. please advise and thanks....Fred
