The correct fast hitch mower for 300 utility had a top link that was specific to the mower. It attatched to the rotating top link hole on the fast hitch, and went diagonaly to the left fast hitch prong, where it had a triangle shaped piece that rotated on a round shaft as you raised and lowered the mower. This is what raised and lowered the cutter bar; it was dark blue ,the rest of mower was red. On the tractor itself, the height stop was a short chain from an angle iron on left axle housing to a bracket attatched to left lift arm. It had a pitman arm. I do not remember the model #, but it was way beyond wore out when dad sold it. I now own the 300, and have adapted/fabricated a #100 balanced head mower(pitmanless)to work. It is a way better mower, smoother running,better cuting; uses a greasable pin on the knife instead of a non-greasable ball and socket. MARK
