Start the tractor and run the engine at 1800 to 2000 rpm and turn the steering wheel to the left and keep turning it . This SHOULD get it to pick up prime , and pumping the brakes will do nothing . Since i can not see the tractor i have no idea what is going on .Ya ya can pull the 5/8th plug out off the back of the MCV but if it does pick up prime your going to need a few bags of floor dry . You can pressurize the rearend with compressed air thru thew fill tube BUT here again you can end up with one hello of a Hy Tran rain storm when you release the pressure , Don't ask how i know that.
