Remember "recoat" means that if you decide you need more paint after it has set a while, you have to do it before 3 hours have elapsed or wait 2 days. Since you have not put on the 2nd coat, and you used hardener, wait 48 hours, sand it with 400 and put on two more coats with a 10-15 minute period between the two. You are then done, unless you mess up. Then you have to wait 48 hours, sand with 400 grit and add another coat. The 48 hour wait is to prevent the old paint from lifting the new, due to the different stages of drying.
