I don't remember exactly how I repaired the fan on my "C", but I installed two small bearing on the shaft and bored out the pulley assembly for the bearings. I have not had a problem since then. I am a machinist and I will spend way to much time re-engineering a cheap part than to buy another. I do it as a challenge to see if i can. SDE
