Blue white spark is only part of what you need with a spark. It also needs to jump a 1/4 inch gap or more also and if it does not then no start. Not likely to be your problem either but just so you know. Next pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas there. Catch it so as to look for dirt/rust/water. Let it flow few minutes so you know it will stay flowing. Bet you find you have a poor flow and if so work your way back till you find where the clog is. You may even have to blow air into the tank to clean things up. Had a problem sort of like that in my BA and had a couple old leaves in the tank that would float over the hole for the fuel and stop it up then when the engine died they would float off till it happened again and boy was that hard to figure out
