I think I told you that. I believe they are 1/2". I just use bolts I have on hand. I don't recommend the original studs because they might bend. They need to be screwed only part way into the hole. The length is such that they won't bend either. I use washers on the outside of the chain. And regardless of what others say on this forum, I split my Super M, removed the radiator to get it out of the way, took the bolts out of the engine mounts, left both the rails on and lifted it out. I may have removed the back plate first, don't remember. I usually just do whatever works with safety as first priority.
