Non vented, short fuel tank caps are used on the 86 and 88 series tractors as they have a separate vent hose going up the cab leg and under fender. They get plugged and that is main reason you see so many sucked in fuel tanks on them. They do distort even when vented but I have seen some sucked together really good.
