Are you planning to put a 5.7 in it? One thing you will gain is it will start a LOT easier. It would be a peppy tractor and fun to drive but I wouldn't take it to the field and pull five bottoms with it.
Neighbor had a 560 diesel that was turboed and putting out 107 horses on the dyno. It was set up that way when he bought it. Fun to drive and they never had trouble with it, but the keyways in the axles were chipped from the extra torque. It must have had the rear end updates. Jim
