This is my father in laws tractor who is currently over seas. He gave me a crash course on how to operate it before he left. I don't know much about tractors so please bear with me.
It currently has a tiller hooked up to the 3 pt conversion hitch. While operating the rear hydraulics something strange is happening. It will raise up fine to whatever position but isn't able to hold its position without slightly dropping then bouncing back up. There is a leak coming from under the seat which I know is where the lines for the rear hydraulics run. It isn't gushing out but a slow seep.
I'm able to drive the tractor around and used the tiller yesterday. Just want to know if I'm maybe missing something or doing something wrong to cause the rear hydraulics to act like this. If it's not me then what could be wrong?? Thanks.
