Info from old post. Salvage tractors that came equiped with metal ones can be found on ones that came without hydraulics. Also stage 2 SM clutch housings and SW6 with frame rails.
Also the most successful place to find is in the front bolsters for H&M to 350&450. Two are up inside the bottom of the bolsters where the posts go up. If you have a salvage yard near that junks the bolsters try to get the plugs first. Sometimes you can get them out from the bottom but not always. If there already in a dumpster I take a big sledge hammer and bust a hole in the posts. Then take a long rod to push out.
Also a 41 MD used the metal plugs.
