I have a Delco 10SI on mine which fits fine but is tight, the generator bracket is flipped over and one side of the alternator is touching the valve cover with a piece of rubber in between to keep them from rubbing. The hood latches all the way around and it charges fine. The Hitachi that Janicholson recommends may be a better choice, I just was not able to get one reasonably around here. Zach
