Depends on what shape it is in, if it comes with anything and how bad you want it. I paid $300 for my non-running B and I'll have another $200 in it total to make it run. It will need front tires but mine hold air. Rears are good but old. Tires make a big difference in price of something that is in need of something major.
If everything else on the tractor is crap plus the motor is shot, offer a little under scrap price or walk away. Might be a bunch of other stuff that needs to be replaced/repaired also. Most running Super As that I'm seeing listed for sale on this site, craigslist and ebay are going from $750 looking rough but running, $1200 to $2000 for what appears to be a decent tractor and then the sky is the limit for a really nice one - I guess what you can get for it. At least that is what they are asking, not what they are getting.
