Harold H is correct with the horsepower ratings from nebraska, but in the last 65 years since then, many of the G's have been overhauled with aluminum pistons.My 47 G, and many that I have had on the dynomometer make 54HP with the piston change.The change raises the compression from 4.21:1 up to 5.6:1.The low compression was to burn low cost fuel.
