You have the right idea. The draw bar must come off then the tire, then the drive assembly. BE VERY CAREFUL if you are doing this by your self as the assembly is heavy. If you are not feeling any resistance on the pedal the bands are probiably broke. I would go ahead and buy them before I pulled it apart. Thake the big checkbook. This is not a difficult job and both can easily be compleated in one day. It would be nice to have a helper. Good luck. Jerry in VA
