The pins are locating non threaded into the housing. Put one washer (or 2) on the shank then some lube and a nut (clean the paint off the stud before using the nut) then tighten the nut and it will pull the pin out easily. Put them back in before tightening the main bolts. There are pictures in the parts diagram of the number of bolts. (it has been years since I took an M apart, there might not be a bolt hidden). Jim
