some years back a guy where I was working had an older IH he said was a SuperM. Said it was stuck and wanted to sell it. I was a JD guy so I asked How much in case I found someone interested in it. He said $100. Had aftermarket 3 point so I decided to buy it, "to part out". Turned out was a SMTA. I got it home and decided I wanted to see it run, couldn't just part it out and didn't realize at the time what a SMTA was. I now use it as my baler/swather tractor, lots of work and parts but a great tractor now. I actually paid more for the JD back blade on it than I did the tractor.
