Well today My grandson and I got the SH fired up. When I got this in the spring , This tractor had been stuck for several years. Left out in the open. #2 and #3 were froze real bad. Had to push out pistons and sleeves. Installed new sleeve/piston kit. Rod bearings all looked good. I had to tweek the timing and it ran alot smoother. The carburator gave me some headache but I ran 2 cans of cleaner thru every opening I could find. I have the carburator adjusted and it will crank up with battery but I can't get it to go with hand crank. Still hard to turn. Oil pressure is at about 85% on IH gauge., Water went to 170' after 30 minutes of driving. When should I re torque head and when should I check valves again? Also how should I treat it during the ring break in?
