Have you plugged a gauge into the remotes to see what pressure you have there Ya only need three gallon a min. for steering . What implements are you trying to raise and what size cylinders are you using . Your working with a low pressure system and a tractor that is old . Plus the fact that that SM/TA diesel has more then likely had extensive field testing thru it's life and your problems may be due to a plum slap wore out pump .
