I know it's just "new tractor nerves" but why do people always ask if there is anything they can check?
Sure there's lots of stuff you can *check* but the cost to check those items will be as much as, or MORE than, simply replacing those items with new.
You can check the transmission but by the time you tear it all down and measure the shafts, bearings, and gears, you could do a complete overhaul for the same money or less.
You can check the engine but by the time you tear it all down and measure the bearings, cylinders, pistons, rings, crankshaft, etc., you could do a complete overhaul or drop in a remanufactured engine.
You can check the TA but... you know the rest.
Check the oil, check the fuel. Take it out and use it. It will tell you what it needs sooner or later.
