That is where I was headed, too. 2 gallons is a lot of water to take on from the radiator.
Was the tractor parked inside a shed for the year? If it was outside was the exhaust covered with something that is NOT A RAINCAP. Those things are junk for outside storage. They are ok if you get caught in the rain.
