well you done half a job on the engine , sounds like only honeing cyl's. so your time is free and i would reuse that gskt. but inspect it first.and if you spray it with permatex high-tac spray i am sure you will be fine. i have done this on a couple that i wanted to see how the rest of tractor was. my intention was to pull it down again but its still running and no head gakt leaks...suprise. ooh and this was on a 340 ih utility with a diesel , another suprise. this was just my own experiment cause i had no idea how the trans or diff was . but ya its a good little tractor so i will restore it one of these days.
