If the clutch alignment tool is used, it is just [placed in the spline hole and into the pilot bearing. I then release the clutch (three bolts) untill I can just move the disk with the alignment tool a tiny amount in any direction withoput it falling. I then move the disk left and right and up and down till I believe i have it centered perfectly using the tool. I then take out the bolts, and put them where they belong. Now you are assured that the disk is centered. leave the tractor in Neutral, and turn on the PTO as you put the engine in have someone rotate the PTO with a Pipe wrench to rotate the clutch shaft till the splines engage.
