With only one person I couldn't get overall widths very easy (tires get in the way!) but I checked a '51 and two '50 C's as follows:

Transmission housing width (machined surface to surface) is 12"; (this is where the axel housing bolts on, also same width as the drawbar or fast hitch attachment points)

Axle housings are 15 1/2" from the trany housing to the surface that the end cap bolts to;

Then from that point to the end of the axle is ~18".
