Assuming you are talking about the axle housing and the gasket is between it and the final drive case. Jack the tractor till all the weight is off of the tire on the side that is leaking. But not lifting the tire. and put safty blocking under it. Loosen the big bolts holding the housing to the final case, and split it apart about 3/8 to 1/2". Jack on the tractor until the gap is very equal all around. scrape all old gasket out of the joint. Take the new gasket, and cut the top through so it is split where it crosses the top of the axle housing. weasel the new gasket into position. Use RTV on the surfaces. especially at the split. Jim
