I wouldnn"t do it. I thought about it too, but I also used to carry a log chain up front on my H, until it came loose and I bush-hogged it. Wow. Wrapped itself up and beat the living c=== out of the hog. My luck, the crank"d get into the bush-hog and come flying out at 10,000 mph. I have seen some sort of "official" picture of an F-12 or F-20 or so, with the crank held in place on the front, with a cotter pin holdng it in place.
