560 was made in Wheatland (Standard) configuration as well as Farmall. 660 was only Standard.
The 660 used a radiator that was 3" taller. That required a cast iron filler spacer and extensions on the dog legs. There is also a 1.25" spacer to raise the front of the fuel tank.
The rear half used different wheels, rims. tires, and axles.
Engines were identical except the injection pump was set to a higher RPM.
All 660s used the planetary PTO to get the right 540 ratio due to the higher engine RPM. Guessing that the factory didn't want to cut and stock a new gear set. But it could have been that there was no room for a larger PTO driven gear.
Think the differential gears were changed but I am not going to look it up.
