If you had to free up an opener with ball bearings, you might as well replace it, you're going to loose it in the field anyway. What you're seeing under the hubcap is actually the retainer bolt with a T-shaped head, depending on how old it is. They simply unscrew. Well, it WOULD be simple if it weren't for the copious amounts of Lock-Tite used on them. Just remember that the bolts on the left are left-hand thread.
