I rebuilt the transmission in my H and I insisted on using USA made bearings, which do have as many balls as the originals that came out of the tractor. I did look at some foreign bearings and noticed they had less balls in them-obviously a cheaper bearing. You don't need to get the bearings from an IH dealer either. Just get the number off the original bearings and contact a local bearing distributor, you could even find one on the net, they will be able to cross reference them for you- remember to insist on USA made!
