On the way to get parts this morning,there was a 1660 combine that had been run into the ditch--straight shot--no turning one way or the other. Got to the imp. store & asked what was wrong. Seems the hydraulic pump [belt driven from engine] mounting bracket/ bolts had gone South. Well, steering & everything but hydrostatic works off that pump. So, heads up & take a look every now & again up in your pump area. I'd imagine a belt that went kerflooey driving the pump could do the same.
