Pete.the way we always dealt with the swinging drawbar was,we would remove the forward bolt (one in front of the stationary drawbar)that holds the roller asy.and loosen the back one just enough so the roller asy.could pivot to the side.Then you can move the swinging draw- bar to one side or the other as far as the axel to drawbar brace allows,enough to have room to mount the mower.
