1. The spark plugs take a 7/8 socket. I have no trouble fitting it over them. You may have a buildup of grease in the way. 2. The seat is probably worn, it should not rock excessively. The adjustment mechanism may be loose. Take it apart and make sure nothing is worn to the point of breaking where you could fall off. 3. It is best to jack on the frame with a hi-lift jack like they have at farm stores. To remove one front tire, run the other tire up on a board, on stable ground. It is best to jack the rear up using a hydraulic jack on a jack stand made from a piece of 6" pipe with plates welded on each end to get the jack on a stable platform and high enough to lift. A hi-lift jack is tough to use if you have fenders. 4. You may have to drive the front end up and over the mower using some boards as ramps. That is usually easier than dragging the mower in and out with another tractor. If the mower is narrow enough you can drive the tractor around it. That is when the narrow front end comes in handy, it will really turn sharp. 5. Happy mowing.
